I live in Chicago, happened to be in Hobart- hungry, following a family event. Stopped in after we noted 4 star reviews on Yelp and were delighted with our choice. Food is fresh, authentic, and reasonably priced. So are the margaritas which were on special for only $3 (on the rocks) or $4 (slushy). Servers were very pleasant, service great. I only wish I lived closer as this would definitely be a regular haunt.
Absolutely Amazing food. I'm a truck driver from Arizona. Specifically a tiny border town. Now, we got great food down there, but this place takes the cake! Hands down this is the best restaurant and closest to the authentic taste of Mexico. 10/10 would definitely make the trip again. It's just that delicious.
This is the best quick Mexican food place in Hobart. Everything is good. Scratch that: Everything is GREAT! Just order and dig in. You're in good... great hands. Shrimp Tacos + Cebollitas + Extra salsa & limes This one time, my server was SO dang attentive, he noticed that the napkin dispenser at the table was out and he brought us napkins while asking to fill the dispenser while we enjoyed the appetizer. C'mon. Who does that!? I also love that you can see every face in the dining room. The size of the restaurant allows you to actually hear those pops and sizzles from the kitchen while greeting other patrons with a satisfying nod... like, "oh, I know you're enjoying your food, too."
I love their pork tacos, haven't tried any others, just pork. One of my favorite spots!
This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant in the Hobart/Merrillville area. We picked up from here because our usual spot was closed in between Christmas and New Year's. The prices were amazing. They have horchata. The kids LOVED their kids meals. My enchilada special was fantastic. I'd recommend spending a couple extra bucks and ordering off the main menu so you can get chorizo or lengua as your meats, but our family enjoyed the pork and chicken as well. Friendly staff, easy in and out. Will definitely return as soon as possible!
Great service, friendly staff, delicious food, nice atmosphere. Their tortas are the best around. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants anywhere.
